David C Cook has named three executives to new positions leading the Christian publisher's three major divisions established in an "organizational redesign," per the company, which publishes books, curriculum, and music. Those newly established divisions are books and resources publishing; curriculum and Vacation Bible School materials; and Integrity Music.
Jana Zachman, who first joined the company in 2003 as a senior accountant and rose through several positions to the COO post, has been named president. Moving to the COO post is Chadd Miller, who was most recently divisional president of book publishing. And Dan Tancik, who had been COO of Group Publishing when it was acquired by David C Cook last fall, becomes chief curriculum officer.
In a statement, CEO Bill Reeves praised all three executives for their "unique strengths and leadership styles" and their ability "to help inspire and guide our teams into the future.”
The company also announced an open search for candidates for two other top positions: executive publisher over its books and resources division, and an EVP of donor engagement.
