Flatiron to Publish ‘Back to the Future’ Memoir by Michael J. Fox

Megan Lynch, president and publisher of Flatiron Books, has acquired North American rights to Future Boy: ‘Back to the Future’ and My Journey Through the Space-Time Continuum by Michael J. Fox, cowritten with Nelle Fortenberry, from Amanda Urban at CAA. The publisher said that the book, which is Fox's fifth and will be edited by Flatiron VP and editorial director Zachary Wagman, chronicles a months-long period in 1985 in which Fox was “playing two landmark roles at the same time,” taping the sitcom Family Ties by day and filming the movie Back to the Future by night. Publication is planned for October 14.
