PEN World Voices to Celebrate 20th Anniversary

After canceling last year following withdraws in protest over the organization's response to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, the PEN World Voices Festival returns later this month—celebrating its delayed 20th anniversary. More than 80 authors from three dozen countries will take part. The festival runs simultaneously in New York City and Los Angeles, April 30 - May 3.

Among those participating are Lara Aburamadan, André Aciman, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Ava DuVernay, Jennifer Egan, M. Gessen, Sheila Heti, Murray Hill, Siri Hustvedt, Shiori Ito, Stephen Graham Jones, Moisés Kaufman, Dinaw Mengestu, Claire Messud, Lynn Nottage, Joyce Carol Oates, Jodi Picoult, Ben Rhodes, Burhan Sönmez, Jeff VanderMeer, Weike Wang, among others.

All events are ticketed. Some are free to attend. Others are priced $10 to $20. A full schedule is online.
