Nicole Aschoff Takes the Helm at Verso

Nicole Aschoff has succeeded longtime Verso managing director Jacob Stevens, who has led the radical press since 2008. Aschoff assumed her new role on May 1. 

“The house is deeply grateful to Jacob for the enormous role he has played in this, not least in developing an industry-leading website with a pioneering direct-to-consumer sales operation, with an open-access approach to e-books helping to drive readership, word-of-mouth and ultimately print sales,” said Verso in a statement. “We wish Jacob well in the next stage of his impressive career.”
